Stoics do Bordeaux
A few years ago, as many of you will know, we formed a ''spur", club called The Stoics Crusaders, to tour Sri Lanka and the tour was enjoyed by a party of 35 people in 2010.
Since then we have not toured but I thought I would take the opportunity to see old friends in my own new 'neck of the woods', in the south west of France, so I am organising a tour of Bordeaux based at Bordeaux CC.

Dates are now confirmed as 8th to 12th of October though individual arrangements for longer stays can be made.
On Saturday after the game we will be hosted by our hosts Bordeaux CC and the Laithwaite chateaux owners. They will organise a tour of the chateaux, a wine tasting and a gala dinner. You will taste the best French cuisine all sitting at one table, which can accomdate two teams and guests with ease, in the most beautiful formal surroundings.
This is about the best cricket experience that France has to offer.
